In the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney we are often inundated with school holiday activities for our primary school aged children, but it’s harder to find ones that are suitable for preschool-aged children. So we’ve done the research for you and come up with our top 5 school holiday activities for preschoolers, so the littlest members of your family aren’t feeling left out this Winter:
Taste of Bush School
Want to see what Bush School is about? Go to Centennial Park’s special session and check it out, by joining their rangers for a morning of fun in their mud kitchen.

Community Race Day
Randwick City Council and the Australian Turf Club have partnered up once again to host the annual Community Race Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday, 6 July from 10.30am. With free entry for Randwick residents and ratepayers, this family-friendly event will feature a host of free children’s activities and entertainment.

Pee Wee Golf Holiday Camp
Moore Park Golf Club’s Pee Wee holiday camps will be based on their designated Junior teaching area which can be found on the right-hand side of the driving range, with the entrance to this area at the side of the car park. This is a safe, enclosed area with additional seating for you to watch your child from.

Puppet Mania
In this hands-on workshop kids will get the opportunity to make a couple of puppets of their choice: stick puppets, recycled junk puppets, hand puppets, marionettes etc. They will be encouraged to design their own puppets & guided to create them.

NAIDOC Week: Nowie (canoe) Making
In Celebration of NAIDOC Week 2019 Royal Randwick Shopping Centre will be hosting a hands-on session run by an Aboriginal Educator from Koori Kinnections. Children (and adults) can make a Nowie using native plants – constructing a small canoe of a hand-held size which they can take home after they visit!
