Our day combines rotating ‘mini focused intentional teaching times’ (around 10 minutes) with an emphasis on child-driven agency time — free play. The children move around the centre, exploring their spaces, socialising with friends and learning through play. Rotating around our spaces keeps energy and interest levels up and helps everyone embrace change — and it lets each child build a relationship with every educator in their own individual way.
Our daily routine stays open to spontaneous change, in keeping with the children’s energy and interest levels, the weather, and the celebrations that matter to our families.
